Who We Are
The Triangle String Orchestra (TSO) is a community orchestra of amateur string musicians.
The TSO has about 40 members and meets on Wednesday evenings at Meredith College in Raleigh, as a continuing education class that is a community outreach by Meredith. We perform a concert at the end of each semester in Carswell Concert Hall at Meredith, and also generally perform at a retirement community or non-profit each semester.

Attention Triangle-area String Players! Don’t let rust build up on your G string during the summer! You are invited to signup for the TSO Summer Sessions. These will be each of the 5 Wednesday evenings in July, starting 1 July, from 6:30pm to 8pm, at Meredith. All college age or higher area string players are invited. The cost is free. Regular rehearsals for Fall 2026 begin 19 August.
The Fall 2026 concert will be either 9 or 10 December, TBD.
